About C4RE
C4RE strives to work at local, national, regional, and global levels. It was established in 2015 by some enthusiastic and visionary academicians and researchers with over 25-40 years of national & international level working experience. The prime approach of C4RE is to rediscover and understand the environment and natural resources based on potentials and opportunities to be managed for sustainable ecosystem services and livelihood supports towards sustainable development of the society. C4RE encourages multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary in its approaches to running programs and projects by working under broad themes, capacity building and skill development, poverty alleviation and sustainable livelihoods, public health and sanitation, clean technology promotion and development, economic growth and public-private partnership, remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS) and modeling, environment-development integration, good governance, and people’s participation. C4RE is a multi-sectoral business house. Most of its senior researchers have Masters and Ph.D. degrees from Northern American and European Universities with many publications in international journals in their fields of research. In Bangladesh, almost all sectors suffer due to inadequate professionals and technologists with appropriate training and skills.
This dearth of adequate professionals and technologists hinders the expansion of many industrial and service sectors as well export of skilled manpower to cater to demand in North America, Europe, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. It has severe impacts on remittance and economic growth. C4RE (Centre for Research on Environment and People), formerly C4RE Services (Centre for Rediscovered and Redefined Natural Resources Research and Education), is an independent, multi-disciplinary consulting firm for policy, research, and implementing institutes working on advanced research, skill development, and education toward sustainable environment and economic growth. C4RE as consultancy firm specializing in conducting surveys and providing IT-enabled services in the country and beyond, since 2015. We proved our skills, expertise, and professionalism in successfully completing assignments with World Bank, ADB, UNESCO, FAO, and USAID. Assessments, feasibility studies, conservation of nature, biodiversity, sustainable management of ecosystem, environment, resettlement plans, ESIA, EIA, IEE, TIA, landscape design, master plan preparation, Investment planning, climate and flood resilient housing design and implementation, remote sensing (optical-satellite, microwave RADAR, airborne, LiDAR, UAV (Drone), GIS mapping, digital engineering survey, drone survey, social survey, web-GIS, water and sanitation, disaster management, socio-economic assessment, land acquisition, disaster management (DRM) and disaster risk reduction (DRR), infrastructures (roads, highways, bridges), electricity inventory survey and database development, mapping, survey using web-based tools and techniques, capacity building. C4RE strives to work at local, national, regional, and global levels. It was established in 2015 by some enthusiastic and visionary academicians and researchers with over 25-40 years of national & international level working experience.
